Breast Fillets

Our Chicken Breast Fillets come with a sachet of delicious seasoning rub. Season to taste using the rub or salt & pepper before cooking.

To roast:

  • Preheat oven to 220°C/ 430°F/Gas 8.
  • Season with the rub, or with salt & pepper, and place in a baking tray.
  • Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  • Check that the juices run clear before serving.
  • We cook our chicken to 72°C which normally takes 30 – 35 minutes in a 200°C oven. These chicken breasts are extra plump so will take a little longer than an average chicken breast.

To barbecue:

  • Prepare your barbecue ready for cooking.
  • Season the breast fillets with the rub, or with salt & pepper.
  • Grill for approximately 10 minutes on each side.
  • Check that the juices run clear before serving.
  • If you have a meat thermometer, the internal temperature needs to be at least 74°C.

To poach:

  • Heat your liquid to a slow simmer.
  • Reduce the heat to low and add your chicken breast fillets.
  • Cook for 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove from the poaching liquid & serve.

To pan fry:

  • Heat your oil in a frying pan.
  • Add the chicken breast fillets, skin down, and fry for 2-3 minutes until the skin is browned.
  • Turn the fillets over & cook for a further 7-10 minutes until cooked through.
  • Check that the juices run clear before serving.
  • If you have a meat thermometer, the internal temperature needs to be at least 72°C.
