Combined with their longer growing period, this genuinely free-range lifestyle is central to how we produce chicken that's a world away from intensively reared alternatives.

Slowly Reared, Naturally Better
We don't believe in rushing the growing process. Our chickens are reared for more than twice as long as many conventionally produced birds, giving them time to mature at a more natural pace.
That slower approach makes a noticeable difference on the plate, producing meat with greater depth of flavour and a beautifully firm, succulent texture.

Prepared the Traditional Way
Once our birds have been reared, the same attention to detail continues. They are dry plucked and hand finished before being game hung for around seven days.
It's a traditional method that takes more time, but helps concentrate flavour and contributes to the distinctive eating quality of a Thoughtful Producer chicken.
